Service Bulletin 20080814 XYCOM 2005

It has become increasingly hard to purchase and repair the Xycom 2005 user interface used on some AP&T machines. These units can often be found on the AP&T DPA 400 and DPA 315 machines.

AP&T decided to develop a direct replacement kit for these machines and consulted Pro-face (formerly Xycom). The upgrade will replace the old Xycom 2005 screen, the Westermo converter (also a hard to find item) and cable between PLC.

Upgrade kit includes:

  • Pro-face AGP 3500 interface
  • New adapter face plate
  • 24 V power supply
  • Cable between Siemens S5 PLC and AGP interface
  • Programming for your specific machine
