New press assembly hall in Tranemo – part of the effort to increase volumes
On October 3rd, AP&T Press Systems will open a new assembly hall at the production facility in Tranemo.
At just over 900 square meters (10,000 sq ft), the new assembly hall will
enable AP&T to meet the increased demand and ever-increasing sales
volumes for hydraulic presses. Thanks to improved logistics, the new
assembly hall will also enable more efficient assembly of large
presses.
"In this way, we can increase volumes while minimizing lead times for our
customers," says Kenneth Carlsson, Division Manager for AP&T Press
Systems.
The assembly hall has a free working height of 11 meters (36 ft) beneath
two overhead cranes, each with a 50-ton capacity. There is also a 3.5 meter
(11.5 ft) deep assembly pit which makes the assembly of large presses a bit
easier.
